A wanted man
Tim Heywood has an impressive portfolio of the world’s finest yachts also including the Mayan Queen IV. He works in close collaboration with his clients to fulfil their needs and bring their visions to life.
A graduate of the Central School of Art and Design, Tim is based in Rutland, in the centre of England, where he runs a design studio with his partner Vanessa Reville. In 2010, Tim had 10 yachts in the Top 100 world’s largest yachts.

"The elegance of the rigor of engineering."
The 119 metre A, built in 2008 by Blohm + Voss, has an exterior and interior design by Philippe Starck.
Pushing the limits
From the everyday products, furniture and lemon squeezers, to revolutionary mega yachts, hotels that stimulate the senses, phantasmagorical venues and individual wind turbines, he never stops pushing the limits and criteria of contemporary design.
His father, an inventor and aeronautic engineer, gave the young Philippe Starck the desire to create and the capacity to dream.
Arguably the world’s most famous and prolific designer

"I was fortunate enough to have been the naval architect for the ECO and the A, as well as the designer of ECO. Blohm + Voss rose to the considerable technical challenges posed by the construction of these remarkable vessels and continue to do so today."

From art to engineering
From art to engineering, the creative work of Martin Francis crosses a broad range of disciplines. Based in London and in the back hills near Cannes, Martin is naval architect and interior designer who started out building masts for racing sailboats. From there, with a few artistic and creative detours, he moved into superyachts, working with Blohm + Voss on the ECO and the A.
With her upside down hull and streamlined, stealth design, the A is one of the most striking and unconventional yachts in the world. Martin is extremely proud of the efficient, high-performance hull, which achieves maximum speed with minimal power.

"The Palladium is our ultimate 3D expression. The concept was to provide a yacht which can cater for all the owner’s water sports activities and provide luxury open space to relax. With the swimming pool in the sun and lots of casual seating, the main deck becomes the local club."
The 96 metre Palladium, built in 2011 by Blohm + Voss, has exterior and interior styling by Michael Leach Design.
Game changer
Michael Leach Design spent five years developing the Palladium with Blohm + Voss, designing the yacht with incredible attention to detail from the inside out. This yacht is the pinnacle of an already impressive line-up from MLD, which includes the Solemar, Anna and Hemisphere.
Based in Hampshire, England, MLD is the brainchild of Michael Leach and his partner Mark Smith. The Palladium has won many awards, including Best Motor Yacht (65m+) at the 2011 ISS Gala Awards and four Golden Neptunes at the 2011 ShowBoats Design Awards.
